Itinerary
Day 01: Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria.

Once we get to Santa Maria, our professional rafting guide will be waiting ready to start a new adventure. Day 02: Santa Maria – Santa Teresa.
very early in the morning 06:00 am is the wake-up time in order to enjoy our typical breakfast of the Inca jungle to be able to start walking along the river bank and then start the original Inca trail, while walking towards up and down the steep cliffs above the impressive Cocalmayo Valley, where the Guide will explain the flora, fauna and history of the place and reveal something of the little we know about this ancient and amazing culture. The Inca Trail descends to Quellomayo where the group stops to have lunch and have free time to relax in the hammocks and always keep their eyes on natural fruits, especially flavor is the passion fruit (passion fruit). After lunch the tour continues along the Urubamba River. In total the distance of the walk (20 km aprox) concludes with a visit to the thermal baths of Cocal May where the group submerges in the warm water to forget all the pains of the walk (Inca Jungle) then continue towards Santa Teresa for the dinner and a comfortable hostel (local family home).

Day 03: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes Town
Today you have two options, you can go walking from Santa Teresa to Aguas Calientes (11 km aprox) or take a zip line (canopy) in the morning with a transport to the hydroelectric station (lunch place) and just walk the last 9 kilometers.
Whatever option you choose? the group will meet again at the hydroelectric station. For lunch and then just walk 3 hours along the train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Day 04: Aguas Calientes – The Inca City of Machu Picchu
Very early 04:00 am, the group has to wake up and be ready to walk towards the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, the walk starts following the bus road after 20 minutes and start the stretch of the Inca Trail that climbs to the site archaeological site of Machupicchu, to be able to appreciate the impressive sunrise, after registering at the main entrance of Machu Picchu that is open at 06:00 am. We will start the guided tour that lasts 2:00 hours where the guide will explain about the history of the Incas, then you will have free time to visit and walk on your own, taking into account the schedule of the train back, you have the enough time to climb the mountain of Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu in the afternoon, you can take a bus or walk back to the town Aguas Calientes, to board the tourist train back to the town of Ollantaytambo then bus to Cusco.
