ITINERARY
FIRST DAY:

AIRPORT COLLECTION, TRANSFER TO HOTEL

FIRST DAY AFTERNOON: CITY TOUR: 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Qoricancha: Located a few meters from the Plaza de Armas, considered the most sacred place by the Incas and all the vast territory of Tawantinsuyo, in which they paid homage to the community of gods and considered children of gods. Nowadays it looks in Santo Domingo Catholic temple on the eternal walls worked in the Inca period.

Sacsayhuaman: Located 2 km north of the city of Cusco, it was a religious center of great importance. Q’enqo: Located 4 km northeast of the city of Cusco, quechua word that translated into Spanish means “labyrinth”, served a purely ceremonial function found on the outside a semicircular amphitheater with trapezoidal niches in whose main part It presents a monolith that simulates being a cougar, which is an Inca deity.

Pucapucara: Quechua word that translated into Spanish means “red fort”, is located 6 km from the city of Cusco, fulfilled the function of military control, was also a place of rest for all travelers who passed through the place. This building is composed of walls, stairways, terraces and canals, its construction is rustic.

Tambomachay: It is located about 8 km north of Cusco, Quechua word that translated into Spanish means “resting cave”, because of the architecture and the water sources that it shines, without a doubt it must have been a place destined to the cult of water, since water was considered as a deity symbolizing purity and fertility.

After our tour, we return to the city at approximately 7:30 p.m.

SECOND DAY: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS FROM 8:30 AM TO 7:00 PM.

This trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the most impressive in your visit to Cusco, we will visit the most traditional archaeological sites such as the typical market of Pisaq and its archaeological center, Ollantaytambo and the ruins of Chinchero. It is the second most visited place in Cusco after the trip that is made inside the City.

Pisaq: Where you can find a wide variety of crafts such as ceramics, Pisaq Textile and Painting. After the walk, we will go up to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq, which we will visit for approximately 1 hour accompanied by a professional guide, who will explain our importance and meaning of an Inca Culture that is so complex and enigmatic, during the period of development through a spectacular spectacular scenery that will leave you breathless. Continuing our excursión, for the Sacred Valley of the Incas we will arrive at the town of Urubamba place to have time of lunch to taste a delicious typical plate of the región. Then we will be arriving to the town of, Ollantaytambo: Where we will be visiting one of the most beautiful archaeological centers inside the sacred valley of the Incas, this place is a magnificent scenario surrounded by sacred mountains such as the Lord of Tunupa Wiracocha. And on the banks of the town of Ollantaytambo is the sacred river of the Incas known as Wilcamayu. This place will be visited around 45 minutes. At the end of the tour you will go to take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, at Aguas Calientes station we will be waiting for you to transfer to your hotel, at night you will receive detailed information about the tour the next day.

THIRD DAY: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

05:00 AM. Breakfast at the Hotel After we will start the Ascent by bus approximately 25 minutes to the wonderful Inca MACHUPICCHU citadel, universally known both for its imposing and original remains of the Inca culture and for its incomparable location on the edge of the abyss, in whose bottom the waters flow torrentosas of the Urubamba. We will have the opportunity to appreciate the sunrise and sunrise in Machupicchu then we will visit its main stepped constructions, stairways, temples, towers, the Solar Clock or Intiwatana, platforms, etc. The guided tour of the entire citadel lasts approximately 2:30 hours.

Free time to explore the ruins, as well as ascend to Huayna Picchu. 1:30 hrs approx. Then we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes where they will have the option of visiting the thermal baths of the area. In the afternoon, return to Cusco.

FOURTH DAY: MONTAÑA DE COLORES or RAIMBOW MOUNTAIN

Firstly, the pick-up from your hotel will be approximately 3:10 am to undertake a trip of 3:00 hours following the southern route through the valleys of Cusco, in full route we can see the sunrise in horizons of valleys and punas; a first stop in the small town of Pitumarca, then continue to our local house Quesiuno place where we await an energetic Andean breakfast prepared especially before embarking on the trek to the mountain Vinincunca. After breakfast we get ready with all the implements of walking and a good load of water that allows us to undertake our ascent to the mountain Vinincunca. It will be for a period of 3 hours (7.5 km). If you wish we can provide horses or mules because we always carry one in case there is a need to be used by you to accelerate your walk. Our departure from this point allows us to observe a view of the largest mountain in the Ausangate area covered in snow almost entirely with the transparent streams that overflow from the adjoining mountains, see the camelids and sheep feed on their fields and its town of Uchuraccay with its workers in the open field. As we ascend we will feel the air cleaner and colder than the earth can give us accompanied by an intimate coat that provides us with emotion. The warmth of the people who gleefully welcome us in their mountains allows us to understand the joy and tranquility that their inhabitants radiate, and at the top the feelings and effort exposed in the goal are dissipated in an inexplicable way that holds the hand of the hungry soul of emotions. At the end of the step we will have the view of the most wonderful and enigmatic geographical feature, the great chain of mountains of the 7 colors. At the end of this, we will make the descent path in a slow and measured way to the town of Chilca, where our Andean-style lunch is waiting for us, accompanied by mates or soft drinks to make us feel the warmth of these people. At the end of lunch you will have a free time with yourself all this until the pick up of the transport to go back to Cusco, then we will have a 2 hour trip to the city arriving at your hotel at 7:00 p.m. Once in you will have the total satisfaction of having been able to enjoy this unique experience that made your life an adventure.
